The Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) ROV Competition is an international robotics competition that challenges students to design, build, and operate remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to complete real-world underwater missions by simulating tasks found in industries such as ocean exploration, marine engineering, and environmental monitoring.
We compete in the Ranger class of the competition. Designed for experienced high school teams, competitions are held at the regional level (PNW) and also the international level (World Championships).
